- 13953 SdKfz 9/1 Famo 6-Ton Bilstein Crane Conversion (TAM)

- Re-mastering of original conversion, TMD item # 352020. The crane body remains the same, as does the PE fret and decals. However, totally re-mastered is the entire bed and all the associated parts to reflect additional information we uncovered since we released the first kit.
A partial list of what has changed includes:
•A re-mastered bed. Bed lengthened by 4 mm, opened up the storage boxes in the top of the bed and thinned the master closer to scale thickness.
•New mold techniques and different resin so the bed piece will not deform during casting or warp as much in shipping.
•Re-mastered pieces that make it easier to construct the supporting structures under the bed assembly.
•Re-mastered rear deck storage box using new mold techniques and resin to help reduce warping problems.
•Added the extended spare tire holder, lock mechanism and associated pieces to model the strap that was used to pull the spare tire from storage.
•Re-mastered the cab sides and added the cowl with ALL the rivet detail missing from our old conversion AND the TAMIYA kit.
•Improved masters to aid in constructing the support legs and pads.
•Added the locating rods and handles that go to the support leg pads and were missing from our original conversion.
•Added ears to the travel lock so the lock pin has a place to go, as well as the handle to attach the crane hook to the travel lock arm while in transit mode.
•Added the dust covers for the base of the crane assembly.
•Added the tilt mounting brackets that were missing from our original conversion.
•Re-mastered the wheel chocks to ease construction.
