Cast in light grey resin the figures only have the usual casting blocks to be removed as well as some casting seams down the inner legs and back as well as on the arms, this is a consequence of the full body castings and care should be taken so as not to compromise the detail when removing these seams.
The uniform and facial features are very good for this scale and include well defined details such as belts, pockets and fabric folds as well as rank insignia on the arms.
Assembly was straightforward without any problems with the arms having large pins that fit into corresponding holes in the shoulders for a good fit overall but there was a couple of minor gaps on a couple of joins but these can be filled with thick cyanoacrylate as you go.
The jerry cans have some minor resin film inside the handles but this was easy to remove leaving the three well defined handles with the cans fitting easily to the two figures with the walking figure having indentations on his hand that fit into the spaces between the can handles while the figure pouring from the can sees the can fit snugly between the arms without any glue needed so long as you position the arms correctly during assembly and let the cyanoacrylate cure completely before fitting the can. One small point is the can still has the cap in place so you might want to cut this off and drill a hole for the opening and positioning the cap nearby for a more realistic appearance.
The animation on the figures is good with each doing something different and the set will be useful for dioramas or as a small scene on their own.
