Road Sign Set

The set has 90 parts on two identical sprues in white plastic moulded to the usual high standard from Tamiya and gives you items typically found in France, Germany and Russia during WWII and a large decal sheet.
The parts have excellent details with wood grain effect on the fence posts, wagon wheel and large sign board plus relief moulding of the metal road signs and fine details on the large street lamps.
Included in the set are the four street lamps, a selection of wood and metal road signs and sign posts of various sizes, four segments of fencing and power poles with a selection of insulators. Thrown in for good measure are a couple of wooden wagon wheels and large sign boards to use as required.
The large decal sheet has numerous street signs and directional signs plus many military signs and a decal for the large sign board and most of these require you paint the plastic sign the required colour beforehand which does give a degree of freedom in the finish.
The instruction sheet has the basic assembly of the items with multiple parts and diagrams of all signs included on the decal sheet with a translation of the German signs and brief explanation so you have some idea of that they actually say and mean you can use them in the right context which is a nice bonus.
The instructions also point out the different arrangements of the power pole insulators in different parts of Europe and Russia allowing you to alter the parts as required.
Conclusion:
An excellent accessory set that will be very useful in building 1:48 dioramas
with well detailed items and a good selection of signage on the decal sheet
to add to the other accessory sets already released.
