Review by Terry Ashley

The Book:
While this book has been around for a while now it is still worth a look for if you are interested in Engineer and Recovery Vehicles and modelling them then this book is a must have.

The 14 models/vehicles featured in the book are:

The first 32 pages have colour photos of the models finished to a high standard as well as a single colour pic of the real vehicle to accompany the model pics.

The remainder of the book is in black and white with each model covered having many detailed photos during and after construction to show clearly the processes and will prove invaluable when building the models. Again there are reference photos of the real thing to provide plenty of info as well as the added text giving detailed coverage of the construction.

All the models are built using available kits either plastic or resin plus resin update/conversion sets with added etched update sets so all the models can be built without major scratch building.

At the end of the book is a detailed list of all kits/conversions/update sets used with kit numbers and available reference books to enable you to buy all the bits used in the models featured.

As mentioned this book will be invaluable when building the kits and is really a detailed extension of the kit instructions as well as a good reference if you are just interested in Engineering and Recovery Vehicles.

Highly recommended
