book Ground Power Magazine #74 7/2000
Published by Delta Publishing Co.Ltd. Japan

This issue is made up of four sections..

The first 75 pages are devoted to the German 8-wheeled Armored Cars (Part 2) of WWII.
This features the Sd.Kfz.234 series of vehicles. As well as the usual great collection of wartime photos from every theatre, there is line drawings of the engine and the interior layout.
1/35th plans are included for the Sd.Kfz.234/1 2cm, Sd.Kfz.234/2 5cm, Sd.Kfz.234/3 7.5cm and Sd.Kfz.234/4 7.5cm,
There is also some excellent close-up photos of a museum Sd.Kfz.234/4 7.5cm with both interior and exterior shots. A sensational reference for these vehicles.

7 pages are devoted to the little known ADGZ 8-wheeled Armored Car with some interesting photos taken in the field.

The next section (36 pages) is the "History of the Sturmgeschutz Unit 1" and features the Stug III in a series of in-action shots, plus some nice production line shots.

The next section "British Light Tracked Vehicles 1920-1939" has photos of the various small vehicles tested and used by the British during this period. Photos of Lloyd carriers, Vickers MkI-VI and early Universal carriers are included.

The final section continues the coverage of the Italian Army in WWII. This issue has a selection of infantry in action, mainly in the African theatre.

Another excellent issue of the excellent magazine for armour enthusiasts.
