book Ground Power Magazine #78 - 11/2000
Published by Delta Publishing Co.Ltd. Japan

This issue is made up of three large sections.

The first 82 pages covers the Lend-Lease vehicles supplied to Russia during WWII by the Allies.

A nice overall coverage of these vehicles with plenty of photographs of Valentines, Matildas, Churchills, Universal Carriers, M3 Stuarts and Lees, M4s (various types), White Scout Cars and Half Tracks as well as softskin vehicles. 1/35th plans are included for a Churchill Mk.IV and M3 Lee.

The next section of 55 pages covers in great detail the Cruiser Tank RAM and variants.
The basic gun tank is featured with many photos and cut away line drawings as well as 1/35th plans.
The RAM Kangaroo is also covered as well as the Sexton on the RAM chassis. This is featured in a photo section with many excellent close-up photos of a preserved Sexton.
Many good wartime photos complement the drawings and detail photos af all vehicles featured.

The final section is a continuation of the photo essay with text (in Japanese) on the History of Stug Unit and the 48 Pz.Korps during the first 60 days of Operation Barbarossa. Featuring mainly Panzer III's and many support vehicles plus infantry photos make up a nice coverage.

Another excellent issue of the excellent magazine for armour enthusiasts.
