This issue is made up of three large sections..
The first 95 pages covers the German Panther tank at Kursk.
This section has many in-action
photos of Panthers including a number of Panthers on the wrong end of the Russian
counter attacks.
There are also a few photos of captured Panthers with Russian crews.
A section concentrates on the Panther D and has photos from other areas other
than Kursk. Again a nice collections of in-action type photos.
The next section
of 46 pages covers in great detail the Somua S-35.
An excellent collection of wartime photos mixed in with detailed line drawings
of various internal and external sections of the vehicle. The is also a set
of 1/35th plans.
Finally there are 10 pages of superb close-up photos of a museum S-35, these
include every area of the vehicle exterior and a couple of shots looking into
the turret.
The final section is a continuation of the photo essay with text (in Japanese) on the History of Stug Unit and the 48 Pz.Korps during the first 60 days of Operation Barbarossa. Featuring mainly Panzer III's and many support vehicles plus infantry photos make up a nice coverage.
Another excellent issue of the excellent magazine for armour enthusiasts.
