This issues again comprises three main section sections, plus an initial four colour pages with a few pics of M3 Lees, M4A1 and M26.
The first is 82
pages featuring part 2 of the Jagdpanzer38(t) Hetzer series.
This issue features late model Hetzers including the postwar G-13 and special
vehicles built on the 38t chassis.
There is coverage of the Bergepanzer38 with nice detail photos and includes
1/35th plans. The second is the Jagdpanzer38 sIG33/2 (15cm), again with some
nice detail photos and 1/35th plans.
Pages 53 to 82 are entirely devoted to wartime photos of the Hetzer in action
and some out of action being a little worse for wear. In all an excellent reference
for the Hetzer.
The second section
of 40 pages is Part 1 on the Universal Carrier. This coverage is simple
superb, it features detailed diagrams of the vehicle layout, interior fittings,
engine and hull details. These diagrams are complimented with some great interior
detailed photos. Also included are full breakdowns of the suspension components
and vehicle controls (steering etc.). To finish this off are some great wartime
photos of UCs in both the Western Desert and NW Europe. There are no plans included,
but with the great diagrams this is hardly noticed.
For those with a liking for allied vehicles and the UC in particular will just
have to have this edition.
Section three is part 4 of the Japanese Special Operation Units and again is mostly text all in Japanese.
Another superb issue in the Ground Power series.
