This issue is broken into just two large sections.
BT Fast Tank
Series (1) (pages 5-69)
The first pages deal with the development of the BT series with a number of
photos of the prototype and development vehicles.
BT-2 (pages 24-43)
This section has many drawings showing the internal layout as well as detailed
drawings of the rear hull, road wheels, turret and internal components.
There is also three sets of 1/35 plans for different BT2 variants, all these
drawings being complimented with many wartime photos of the BT2 in action.
PT-5
(pages 44-69)
Again there are excellent drawings giving details of the internal layout and
many vehicle components. 1/35 plans are also included along with many good wartime
photos giving a good insight into the BT-5.
Schwere Panzerjäger
Abteilung 654 (pages 70-143)
This section covers Abt.654 from mainly Kursk to later war actions. The first
few pages show some of the towed A/T guns used including the 3.7cm Pak36 and
7.5cm Pak40 as well as the support vehicles.
Pages 88-113 cover the Kursk action and the introduction of the Ferdinand with
many action photos and as you would imagine most are of destroyed vehicles.
The photos do give good overall views of the cam schemes these vehicles carried.
Pages 114-143 covers the introduction and use of the Jagdpanther with again
many wartime in-action photos some with good close up details. Quite a few of
the photos are of destroyed vehicles from US Army sources.
Another excellent issue of this magazine.
