This new release of a Russian Tanker wearing tank crew overalls for the later war period 1943-45 follows the earlier Russian Tank crew figures (sets #35004, 35005).

The figure is broken down with full body casting and separate arms and alternate heads, one wearing the Russian tanker’s helmet and the other a tankers beret.

The quality of the casting is again excellent without any air bubbles or other blemishes and just the usual casting blocks to be removed. The resin used is easy to cut being not as hard as some but still includes well defined details.

Uniform details are well done with excellent fabric folds and crisp details on the pockets and lapels and include the fabric seams on the arms and back of the overalls, these are quite prominent on the arms and you may want to reduce these slightly with light sanding.

Facial features are very well done and the fit of the arms to the body is excellent without any gaps requiring filler and the chosen head also fits snugly into the collar opening.

Another excellent figure in a relaxed pose with the usual box top colour photos providing a painting guide and could be posed in or out of the chosen vehicle.

Highly recommended
