Following on from the DAK Officer (#35016) comes this single figure of a DAK Panzer NCO wearing typical desert uniform with full length trousers and is posed with a pair of binoculars at the ready.

The figure is cast in a light grey resin with just the usual casting blocks to be removed although there were some minor casting seams on the inside of the legs as a consequence of the full body casting but nothing difficult to deal with.

The body is cast as a single part with separate arms and the usual alternate heads with one wearing a field cap and the other a forage cap and separate hands holding the binoculars which allows for a good natural sit in the hands.

The wrists are extended slightly that fit into hollowed out shirt sleeves and this allowed the hands to be positioned precisely after the arms were glued in place.

The detail on the uniform is superb with crisp well defined details and natural fabric folds and contours as well as all fabric seams and pocket details and also includes a neck scarf with a pair of gloves and flair pistol in his belt.

Assembly posed no problems at all although there was a minor gap on the inside of the left arm that can be dealt with by using thick cyanoacrylate and the left arm/shoulder join needed some minor sanding for a smooth join but I only mention this these minor issues are the only things to talk about due to the high standard of the figures. I also added wire pins to the necks to allow easy swapping of the heads, which is really a personal thing and no reflection of the head fit which is spot on.

Another superb figure that will look good on its own or posed with a vehicle, the figure will certainly add life to whatever setting it is posed in.

Highly recommended
