The set consists of 58 parts in grey plastic plus a decal sheet with a selection of rank insignia. The quality of the mouldings is typical Tamiya with crisp flash free parts requiring a minimum of cleanup.
The figure is posed in a relaxed walk and the set includes an MG42 and MP40 plus the usual assortment of German personal equipment.
The figure itself is very well detailed with many separate parts for good detail definition; the collar is separate as are one side of the sleeve cuffs and the two front sections of the tunic with the pockets and the shoulder epaulettes.
There are also two choices for the head, one bare headed and the other designed to wear the steel helmet, the helmet in turn has interior detail if you choose to hand this of the belt.
The MG42 sprue is from the German Machine Gunner (kit No.35306) and the MP40 sprue is from the Elite Infantryman (Kit No.36303) and is included just for the personal equipment such as gas mask canister, water bottle and trench tool included on the sprue.
The instructions indicate the MG42 is to be used but you just as easily arm the figure with the MP40 if you wish.
Decals:
A decal sheet is included with a selection of rank insignia including helmet
badges, and epaulette insignia, some of these are identified on the box side
and assembly instructions on the back of the box but others are unidentified
and additional reference will be needed to sort them out.
Decal sheet.

Conclusion:
Overall a nicely detailed figure with a nice selection of alternate parts which
would allow you to build two figures with them looking completely different
and should be welcomed by figure modellers.
