German Panzer Grenadiers Set Vol.2
1:35 kit No.35005

Tristar

Following on from German Panzer Grenadiers Set Vol.1 comes Vol.2 which comprises 42 parts in light grey plastic, plus another 34 pieces on separate weapons and equipment sprues. The parts as with previous Tristar figure sets have nice crisp details with the uniform details, fabric folds and facial features very well done for injection moulded plastic. All uniforms feature seams and stitching on the tunics and trousers as well as the weapons having excellent details, all four are full figures which allows you to use the figures in any diorama situation.

There are two standing figures in winter gear plus two sitting figures, all feature nice proportions and animation, just the thing for dioramas and will go hand in hand with the figures in Vol.1 for larger dioramas.

The figures are broken down in the usual manner with separate arms, heads, boots and legs except one which has a full torso moulding with all figures having separate weapons and personal equipment.

The same weapons and equipment sprues from Vol.1 are included so my previous comments on these apply here. Additionally there is another small sprue with an MG42 and associated equipment. This is another superb piece of moulding with the MG42 having excellent details and complimented with an extended or folded bipod stand, two ammo boxes with details on both ends and the top, two ammo drums and a length of ammo belt to use as applicable.

The box again has a full colour painting guide on the back with paint numbers given for Tamiya, Humbrol, Mr.Color and Aqueous Hobby Color paints.

In all another very nice set of figures and will come up well with careful painting.
