Assembly is straight forward but the rear muzzle brake brass collar and etched collar ring may need enlarging slightly with a fine needle point file to fit the barrel and it is best to file the etched parts while still attached to the fret for easy handling with test fitting often to get a good fit.
The inner muzzle brake grommet fit easily into the outer muzzle brake part with the two etched detail ring parts added to the grommet with a small dab of cyanoacrylate before fitting in place, it is best to add the grommet to the outer muzzle brake part and not the rear section as it is difficult to fit the two muzzle brake sections together with the grommet added to the rear part.
The two muzzle brake parts fitted precisely together without problems but just ensure you line up the muzzle brake openings correctly.
On the top of the muzzle brake is the small securing fittings with three very small etched parts and care is needed when fitting these while the fit of the barrel to the target kit only requires the small locating lugs inside of the kit mantlet gun collar to be removed and the barrel then fits okay but ensure the orientation of the barrel is correct in relation to the mantlet.
Another simple update set to add considerable more detail to the Tamiya Panther G gun with minimal effort.
Highly recommended
