Included in the set are ten turned brass shell cases and ten anodized green metal shell cases for the alternate types with additional etched brass end caps for the plain brass cases. The anodized green cases have the percussion pin engraved into the base but you don’t add the etched caps to these.
The etched caps have recessed inner lips for precise location on the brass cases for quick and easy assembly but the cases are only hollowed out to a depth of a couple of mm but should look okay when the insides are painted flat black.
Conclusion:
Another simple accessory set with the a good selection of spent 8.8cm L/56
shell cases to use with an individual model or in a diorama setting.
Highly recommended.
