The barrel is machined in a single piece with two small etched parts for the muzzle attachment, you actually get three each of the etched parts to allow for loss as they are very small which is a nice inclusion by armorscale.
Dimensionally the 1:35 plans in the Panzer Tracts No.2-1 Panzerkampwagen II Ausf.A-C indicates the barrel is about 1mm short and the flash suppressor is slightly undersized.
The barrel features
nice contours but doesn't have the textured hand grip segments or the larger open holes around the flash suppressor neck but does have the muzzle flash
suppressor being fully hollowed out with clean holes in the suppressor.
Fitting to any applicable kit is very easy with just a 2mm locating hole for the metal barrel to be drilling into the kit mantlet and the metal barrel then simply replaces the kit barrel.
Lionmarc/Passion Models and RB Model barrels.
