The decal sheet is again printed by Microscale and is of excellent quality with clear well printed markings, good colour register and very thin carrier film that should react well with any decal setting solution.
Included on the sheet are the turret numbers, unit insignia and a selection of balkenkreuz plus a few vehicle names for applicable Panthers. Some of the turret numbers are included in red and black as well as white outline and of note is the thicker red numbers with thin white outlines peculiar to Panzer-Lehr turret numbers as well as the hand painted Das Reich numbers of irregular design.
The research into the sheet extends to providing the small vehicle names painted on the barrel travel lock with names for "Gerda", "Ursula", "Ingrid and "Christel". Also included are the two Ernst Barkmann vehicles, one a late Ausf.D and the other an Ausf.A from the action in Normandy that became know as "Barkmann's Corner".
The full colour instruction sheet is a feature of Echelon decals and this sheet is no exception with each vehicle having side, front and back views to show the markings as well as indicating where the zimmerit was either factory or field applied. The illustrations clearly show the decal placement as well as giving information on the camouflage scheme each was finished in.
Also included is a list of 15 notable references available to provide additional info on the sheets markings.
The 9 vehicles included on the sheet are below and there are also additional generic turret numbers to virtually make any vehicle from the featured units:
Highly recommended
