"Early" Tiger
I's - HEER Divisions
1:16th Decal Sheet ELADC1601
Review by Terry Ashley
Elite Armor Productions have released this water slide decal sheet for the
big Tamiya 1:16 Tiger I kits and has markings for eight Tigers from various
HEER Divisions.
The sheet is quite large as you would expect being 1:16 at 205mm x 125mm
(8” x 5”) with the printing done by Microscale for excellent
quality and sees spot on colour register with the thin carrier film cropped
very close to the printed image to aid in application.
Included are the turret numbers for each vehicle plus names where applicable
and two sizes of balkenkreuz as well as a couple of unit insignia crests.
The large instruction sheet has illustrations of all eight Tigers with a
colour side view showing the cam scheme with the colours used shown with
RAL numbers plus a few scrap views of the front and rear for the decal placement
there.
Conclusion:
A well printed and presented decal sheet for anyone with the big Tamiya Tigers
allowing some interesting and colourful marking variations.
Highly recommended for 1:16 armour fans.
