Consisting of two frets of etched parts and a turned aluminium barrel the set replaces many of the major gun components with the gun shield fret being thicker than the other for nice variation.
The metal barrel is easily fitted to either kit by simply replacing the two plastic barrel halves on the Dragon kits with no other alterations required while on the Tamiya kits you have to cut the rear section of the barrel from the lower cradle parts which does take a little more effort and there are additional etched parts to detail the cradle and breech such as the rear breech guard and the two hand wheels.
The gun shields are completely replaced with the etched shields with additional etched and plastic rod side shield hinges with additional parts for the rear gun sight opening flaps. The lower shields are also provided with again separate hinges.
The two trails have the entire spades replaced with 8 etched parts each which requires the moulded on spades removed first, no big deal and the tool attachments along the trail arms are also replaced with etched parts.
A fairly comprehensive update for any of the available 3.7cm PaK 35/36 kits with just some minor alterations required to fit the etched parts and along with the metal barrel will transform the kits.
Thanks to Lion Roar for the review set.
