Cupola Images
*Dragon kit has a superb one piece moulding for the cupola that includes internal visors with clear vision blocks.
*Tristar kit has two part cupola but no interior details, the diameter of both cupola's is the same.
*Other Dragon and Tristar cupola parts.
*Both have separate outer visors that can be positioned open or closed.
*Alternate interior visors are supplied in the Dragon kit depending if you have the
visors open or closed and you have to ensure you use the correct parts.
*Interior of hatches showing details, minor difference in hatch sizes but not really worth bothering
with as the plans also differ on this detail.
*Assembled Dragon internal vision blocks which than slip inside the cupola shell.
*Images of fully assembled cupolas and hatches fitted to the turret.
*Note the bolted strip added under the cupola is too thick on the Dragon turret and stands too
proud against the turret bulge but is correct on the Tristar turret.
*There is a minor issue with the vision port opening around the cupola with the contours of the
Dragon openings slightly too round at the bottom and the Tristar openings slightly too square.
