The barrel has just two parts machined in brass, the cradle with cutout section and the barrel with flash suppressor included which is hollowed out to the depth of the suppressor.
The barrel slips into the cradle precisely with the cradle then fitting
into the kit mantlet (part B14) without any modifications needed.
The barrel is slightly too thick to accurately portray the slender look of
the 30mm Rarden cannon and there are some additional small bolt head
details
required
around the front of the cradle, the definition of the barrel in the cradle
is well defined with the two separate parts but the thicker barrel does fill
the cradle more than seen in photographs while the flash suppressor is very
finely rendered.
A nicely machined barrel but some additional details are needed to complete the barrel.
Thanks to Dmitriy from Model Point US for the review sample.
