The set has seven PE frets of excellent finely etched parts with nice relief on the details typified by the excellent effects on floor treadplate and seat back springs with the parts having the usual engraved lines to help with the bending process.
As with previous Voyager etched sets there are different thickness frets for added definition to the parts.
The contents of the set is:The set includes details for the final two types of exhausts used on the
Jagdanther as well as the two storage boxes on the rear hull built completely
from etched parts.
The embossed X stiffeners have to be pressed into the parts before assembly
by applying pressure along the engraved lines with a pointed tool (a ball
point pen works fine). The tool boxes have separate lids and latches so they
can be shown open if required and being thin metal you can simulate accurate
battle damage.
On the engine deck is the full array of intake screens as well as the later louver type on the front and back rectangular intakes plus numerous other small fittings around the engine deck.
All the tool racks and tool clips are provided as etched parts to add good detail definition with the tool clips made up of three pieces each and can be depicted either open or closed to add some animation to your model.
The tow front fenders are provided and you again have to press out the raised lines before bending the fenders to shape and a full set of side skirt panels are also included which again allows the inclusion of damage to be accurately portrayed.
The instruction sheets have exploded view drawings showing the assembly and placement of the parts which are quite easy to follow but as always study these carefully before assembly.
In all a nice update set to add all the small details as well as the larger items such as rear storage boxes and fenders/side panels allow for good scale appearance.
Highly recommended.See the Voyager Models website for additional details.
