Voyager Models have released this set of a brass 105mm high-explosive (HE) shells and cartridge cases for use with any of the AFV Club leFH18 105mm Hoqitzer kits as well as the Tamiya Wespe kit.

The set has eight HE shells with cleanly machined details and 8 cartridge cases which are basically short sections of brass tube with separate etched base plates with embossed details and firing cap.

There is no cleanup required at all on the brass shells but the cartridge cases have a rough cut texture on the ends and you should sand this smooth on the open end for a better look. The undersides of the etched bases have recesses that you sit the shell cases into and this makes for quick and easy fitting ensuring the plate is located centrally.

The small instruction sheet shows the assembly of the cartridge cases which is self explanitory with the shells inserted into the cases for very simply assembly ready for use.

Conclusion:

This is a simply set of nicely machined brass shells and cartridge cases for any available leFH18 kit and will add a nice finishing touch and help populate a firing position diorama.
