Bison Decals
Tiger I
1:48th Decal Sheet BD-48001
Review by Terry Ashley

Bison Decals

This is the first 1:48 release from Bison Decals continues the Tiger Is from the 1:35 decal series with this sheet having markings for thirteen Tigers from Early to Late Production that can be used on either the Tamiya or Skybow Tiger I kits.

The quality of the printing is again excellent with good colour register and thin carrier film although not quite as thin as previous sheets printed by Microscale but cropped close to the edge of the printed image for easy application and should adhere well with a bit of decal setting solution.

The sheets includes the Divisional markings, Unit insignia and Tactical markings for the featured vehicles with two A4 sized instruction sheets with three view black and white drawings of the vehicles showing the location of the various decals as well as a list of useful reference books. The side view illustrations are larger than on previous sheets to better show the decal locations.

The images below and also available on the Bison Decals web site illustrate the markings included on the sheets as well as serving as additional painting guides.
