book Ground Power Magazine #94 - 3/2002
Published by Delta Publishing Co.Ltd. Japan

This issues comprises three main sections.

The first 80 pages covers the King Tiger in action during the Ardennes campaign 1944, there are many wartime photos from both German and US archives. Excellent reference for diorama ideas but not many details photos included.

The second section of 36 pages continues the M4A3 Sherman story. Many wartime photos are included for each variant featured.
The variants featured are the M4A3 105 with turret interior layout photos and engine deck drawings as well as in-action photos.
Next is the M4A3 Jumbo VVSS suspension again with a number of wartime photos, most seen in other publications.
The Calliope and Flame Thrower versions are featured in the next 8 pages with again wartime photos of both.

The final 31 pages is on Soft-Skinned Vehicles of the British Army in WWII. There are only a few photos of each type except the jeep which takes up half the pages in this section. There are two pages with some nice colour photos of the Morris-Commercial C9/B carrier with 40mm Bofors gun. A good general reference on these vehicles.

Another superb issue in the Ground Power series.
