Hot on the heals of the recent Tamiya M26 (T26E3) comes this new in-action book from Squadron Signal.

In the usual 50 page soft cover format we are familiar with this book covers the T26/M26/M46 Pershings and M47 Patton tanks.

The T26E3 and M26 are covered in the first 24 pages with a series of in-action shots both from the brief involvement in WWII through to Korea and as well there is 8 pages of close-up detail shots included a few of the turret interior and engine bay.
4 view plans of the M26 are included as well as a nice frontal photo of the pilot ‘Super Pershing’ and a couple of the Pilot T26E4. a number of the Korean photos have been seen before but there is still a nice collection of photos.

The M45 is next with only 2 pages but includes a couple of pics of the T26E2 pilot and two of the M45 in-action in Korea.

The 8 pages on the M46 again include many photos of the M46 in-action in Korea, also included are 4 view plan drawings and drawings of the rear hull section showing the re-arranged exhausts of the M26 and M46

The final 9 pages are on the M47 with again 4 view plans as well as the usual Sqd/Signal drawings showing new features of the hull. There are also some nice close-up pics of the turret that show some good details.

Of course there is the usual colour centre spread with illustrations of various vehicles.

Another excellent value for money reference from Squadron Signal and a welcome addition to the Allied vehicle library, the illustrations on the front and back cover also give good diorama potential.
