AFV Kit Review
Rolling Thunder
by John Murphy (pages 8-13)
This review details the building of the "new" Tamiya M1A2 Abrams with the usual TMMI close-up photos of the model during and after construction showing the added details and techniques with detailed text describing what's happening in the photos. The addition of the non-slip surfaces using the Cast 'a Coat texturing system enhances the model and can also be used on other modern vehicle models.

Truck Kit Review
Knight Rider
by Marcus Nicholls (pages 16-19)
Marcus turns his hand to Civilian Trucks with this monster 1/14th scale Tamiya 'Knight Hauler' which includes radio control with lights as well as a vibration system along with simulated engine sounds.

Aircraft Kit Review
Heavenly Body
by Geoff Coughlin (pages 22-26)
The Tamiya 1/48th Meteor F.3 gets the detail treatment with some etched parts plus other detailing. There are plenty of close-up detail shots as well as photos of the finished model and detailed text to explain all.

Diorama Project
One for the Road
by Marcus Nicholls (pages 30-37)
The editor is back with an impressive diorama featuring the Custom Dioramics European Trolley from TMMI Issue 103 plus a detailed AFV Club M3A3 Stuart, the Swash Design Triumph 3HW plus nine figures. The Stuart is detailed with Royal Model and Eduard PE sets plus additional scratchbuilt side skirts and the inclusion of an Ultracast crew, Blast Models and Calibre35 stowage/accessories and a well finished paint job makes for a very attractive little kit that would look good on it's own let alone as the centrepiece of this diorama.
The Swash Triumph is a well detailed little kit as it comes but Marcus has included additional details to enhance it even further.
A diorama is only as good as the sum of all it's parts and this diorama highlights the attention to detail on the buildings, groundwork and accessories as well as the well painted figures with the European Trolley as a backdrop for a very impressive scene from Operation Epsom in June/July 1944.

Book Reviews (pages 38-40)
The usual run down on new books for the modeller with brief reviews and cover photos of the books featured.

New Releases (pages 44-53)
This section features new Kits and Accessories with a brief description of the item listed plus photos of the accessory kit contents and is one of the most useful sections of the magazine keeping you informed on what's new. The items listed cover the same themes as the magazine with Military and Civilian vehicles plus Aircraft and figures as well as tools and decals.

AFV Kit Review
If Luchs could Kill
by Marcus Nicholls (pages 16-19)
Marcus builds the excellent little Luchs kit from Tasca with a couple of additions such as Aber's metal barrel, etched tool clips and ModelKasten track. The kit is shown during and after construction with the usual TMMI clear close-up images that really show you the details and the finished model is attractively painted and weathered to show off the features of this compact vehicle.

Postbag
Some reader letters and feedback.

Last Word
Gives a brief rundown on the next issues contents and any late breaking news.

The issue continues the excellent trend of this magazine and one thing not mentioned above is that intermingled with the reviews and articles are 18 pages of vendor adverts, these are well worth looking through for info on new releases and where to get them.
