The only cleanup needed is the usual casting blocks to be removed but you will need to take care so as not to damage the helmets surface in the process.

The set includes eight German helmets of four different styles that include nicely detailed inner linings, four British and four US helmets again with detailed inner linings.

Also included are six skulls to add to dioramas as you wish, the image of the USMC M1A1 in Iraq with a skull mounted on the front of the turret comes to mind.

The rims of the helmets are cast extremely thin especially on the US helmets and unfortunately all four in my set had damaged rims making their use very limited, hopefully this won't be an ongoing problem as the detail on the helmets is quite excellent.

Conclusion:
A very useful set for diorama builders with the inner linings adding that extra bit of detail.

Recommended.
