The plans in the T-34 Mythical Weapon, Tank Power T-34 vol.IV and AJaKS T-34 in Combat Vol.II
all indicate the earlier Mod.1941 hull has the correct dimensions.

The Additional 1.5mm on the STZ 1942 hull top results in the turret ring and engine deck being 1.5mm
further back and the rear hull plate angle being sharper to meet the lower hull.
