To remove the thick plug in the turret ring I firstly drill a series of holes
using a hand held pin vice, this results in less resin dust than using a power tool.
Next snap out the centre resin disc.
Trim the excess resin for a smooth finish.
Note the excellent fit of the Academy engine bay doors, there is no need to
remove the resin inside the engine door recess unless you plan on adding an engine.
The same method was used for the hull hatch openings.
