The etched part is done by Eduard for The Armory so you know the quality but there are some minor modifications required on the Italeri kit to accept the new floor.
The small raised ribs around the compartments on the Italeri floor will need to be sanded smooth and on the sides of the cargo compartment there are a series of ribs, the bottom of these will need a slight ‘notch' cut out at the very bottom to accept the new etched plate.
These mods are easy to do taking only a few minutes and the new plate fits precisely over the hand hold cut-outs of the kit floor but using a slow setting cyanoacrylate would be advisable to make any minor adjustments when fitting the new floor plate.
