Hobby Fan

Another complete resin kit from Hobby Fan consisting of 106 finely cast resin pieces that build into an impressive model.

Cast in the usual cream resin and large casting blocks the level of detail is excellent. The large single hollow casting for the upper hull is especially impressive.
This casting has many small details included like the grab handles, engine hatch details and open periscopes openings as well as detail on the inside of the periscopes, all cabin hatches are also separate. This casting is truly state of the art and pushes resin casting to new highs.

All hatches are separate with internal details, but there is not a lot of internal details included apart from seats.

The suspension is made up of separate axles, leaf springs and wheels with very good tread pattern and hub detail.

Added to the hull are many small detail parts which need care to remove from the casting blocks but add to the impressive details already included on the hull.

Construction is fairly straightforward and providing you take care with the finer parts shouldn't prove a problem. The instructions give a good indication of where the parts go, something that can be a problem in resin kits.

Overall a very impressive kit of an interesting vehicle which does look impressive when finished.
