The four parts are the two wheels and two brake drums with the standard
of casting being excellent with just small pour points on the brake drums and
some minor resin film in the wheel cut-outs, all very easy to deal with.
The brake drums are designed to fit straight onto the Dragon kit axles without
any additional modifications required.
The wheels have the standard WWII Combat Rim but the tyre tread pattern is a civilian style no often seen if at all on active service vehicles. Detail on the rims and hubs is very good with well defined details and opened out lightening holes as well as the small valve stem and indentation on the rim.
The tread pattern is well defined with clean crisp detail and no blemishes and the wheels are perfectly round without any "weighting" which was the most common configuration seen in photos of the Half-Tracks as we have been over before.
Conclusion:
This is a very nicely cast and detailed kit set of Half-Track wheels with well
defined wheel hub details and tread pattern although this is the least common
of the tread patterns seen on the wheels, they could be useful for a different
look of the kit.
Recommended 7/10.
