The lights are cast in light cream resin and are quite delicate so care is needed when removing the large casting block, it is best to use a fine razor saw for this as it is easy to snap off the light stem if using a hobby knife for the job. Once the block is cut off you can lightly sand the top of the light but on a few small amounts of filler was needed as small indentations where present around the pour point.
The front sides of the light hoods are cast very thin (translucent in fact) but all were intact in my sample but again careful handling will be needed although there were a couple of very small air holes on some of the lights, but these are so small even a bit of paint would fill them.
The detail on the lights is excellent with the light opening depicted on the underside as well as the small bolt heads on the base with the detail on the bonus taillights equally well depicted.
A very useful set for updating kits or to replace oversized kit supplied lights.
