The resin parts are crisply cast without any blemishes with only the usual casting blocks to be removed with the main parts being a new firewall, engine block which has some superb details included on all four sides and front radiator.
All the major components such as the intricate exhaust manifolds and the many engine accessories are included as separate parts as well as most of the larger plumbing items with about all that is needed is the finer wiring.
The firewall supports are included as separate parts as well as the steering column and while there is some minor surgery needed on the kit chassis to accept the new resin parts this is well within the capabilities of the average modeller.
The instructions have a series of line drawings showing the construction of the engine and accessories as well as the alterations needed on the kit and while a little on the small side are quite clear and easy to follow which should make putting the set together quite straight forward.
Plus Model also have some excellent photographs of the Horch engine on their web site which not only shows the engine details well but shows what a good job Plusmodel have done on the engine set.
In all a very detailed and easy to fit update set for any of the available early Horch kits that will add plenty of detail to attract the eye.
Highly recommended.
