Additional Hull/suspension details
Image showing the excellent hull parts fit.
Note; the upper/lower hulls and transmission housing are all dry fitted together to illustrate the fit.

Upper view of hull/transmission housing fit, again these are only fry fitted in the image.
Tasca
Close-up of full length Tasca track around the drive sprocket, the track pads are thinner than they should be
for newer T51 track pads, although very worn tracks would appear this thin but a lot more shabby.
Looking at the Dragon "DS track" the track pads are thicker representing T51 track better.
Also included is an image of the Dragon DS T41 tracks for comparison, note the end connectors
are incorrect for T41 track as this differed from the end connectors on T51 and all later Sherman tracks.

As a further comparison is the image of the Panda Plastics T51 individual link track which shows thicker
track pads on the T51 track but it should be noted these represent brand new track pads and these would
thin down depending on the amount of wear.
Refer to the image of the actual T51 track, again this is fairly new
track showing the thicker pads of the
Panda Plastics tracks.

Note all track fits perfectly around the Tasca drive sprocket meaning everyone got the dimensions right apart
from the pad thickness, but as mentioned we are only talking about 0.5mm differences.
Both the Dragon T51 and Panda Plastics tracks have slightly better end connector definition than on the Tasca track.

Overall view of the Tasca track fitted to kit 35017 suspension, note the top run will need to be attached to
the return rollers/skids for a better track sit.

Additional view of the Dragon T51 and T41 "DS track" fitted to the Tasca suspension
as this is more flexible than the Tasca track it doesn't sit as well around the front sprocket in particular where
the contours between the sprocket and first road wheel are more rounded compared to the
taught contours of the more rigid Tasca track. The top run will also need to be attached to
the return rollers/skids for a better track sit.
