The six bumpers that are actually woven thread giving an excellent appearance as well as a length of thread to be used to attach the bumpers or as required with two larger and four smaller bumpers included.

There is no cleanup required but along one "edge" is the weave join which is easy to hide when placing the bumpers on the vehicle. You don't need to paint the bumpers in the normal manner just add some weathering with a thin wash or similar highlighting and then either just drape the bumpers over the kit or soak in diluted white glue to hold firmly in place once dry, this could also make weathering a little easier also.

Conclusion:
A simple yet very good update for your DUKW to add authentic looking rope bumpers with a minimum of fuss.
