The second of the two detail sets for the Tamiya M5A1, this set is very comprehensive and really fills the interior of the Tamiya kit.
Made up of 74 resin pieces cast to the usual Verlinden standard with some exceptional parts, especially the full turret casting which has details on both sides of the turret walls.

This large turret casting has a complete 37mm gun and accessories, plus the full basket fittings. The only part of the kit used is the mantlet and the gun barrel. The turret is almost a kit in itself.

The interior has a large casting with heaps of details for the transmission, gearbox and final drive housings, this is another impressive casting. The two seats, driver's instrument panel, steering levers as well as many storage boxes and radio are the main features. There is two pieces of resin to fill in the side sponsons.

This all should build into an impressive interior, it's almost mandatory to leave all the hatches open to show of as much as possible of this after assembly.

An impressive looking update set, I'll update this review once all the bits have actually been added to the Tamiya Kit.
