The Kit:
Vision Models has released this update set for their own kit of the M1A1 75mm Pack Howitzer (kit #VM35001 which consists of 15 parts in turned brass and alloy.
The metal parts do not require any cleanup at all with the set including 5 x M48 HE (High-explosive), 5 x HEAT (High-explosive anti-tank) rounds and 5 used shell casings. The M48 and M66 rounds come pre-assembled so there is nothing to do other than paint the rounds.
The detail on the rounds is very well defined with the instructions having a painting guide for the HE and HEAT rounds and you could leave the brass shell casings as they come for a good appearance. One could be very picky and say there is no stencilling decals provided but I guess that could be expecting a bit much.
Conclusion:
This is an excellent set of metal ammo for the Pack Howitzer with very clean well defined rounds and shell casing to quickly add to your kit for a diorama setting.
